Sergio Salmeron - Principal
Sergio Salmeron assists clients with Management and Organizational Re-structuring. Sergio specializes in Educational Non-Profits, and has designed and managed national programs that promote Youth Development and Higher Education.
He has worked with national organizations such as Sallie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ford Motor Company Fund, Howard University Hospital, ALPFA, U.S. Department of Education, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Greater Washington Board of Trade, the ECMC Foundation, Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, The College Place, as well as hundreds of Colleges and Universities throughout the United States.
Some of Sergio's accomplishments include an instrumental part of Freddie Mac's 'Dispel the Myths' campaign, as well as Ford Motor Company's 'Retratos'. Sergio is the Architect of the Hispanic Youth's Symposia's 'Realizing the College Dream' curriculum, a program which has garnered the support of hundreds of Private, Public, and Foundation supporters and is now held in eight major cities across the US. He managed and oversaw the Hispanic College Fund's Scholarship Program, which awards nearly $2 million to students at Colleges and Universities nationwide, and helped that organization raise over $467,000 at its Annual Scholarship Awards Gala in 2007.
In addition to his non-profit experience, Sergio has advised Senior Managers and Chief Executives in the public and private sector on how to reduce occupancy costs and mitigate risks associated with Commercial Leasing and Property Ownership. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies and National Non-Profits. Sergio has a strong background in corporate fundraising, B2B sales, and Public Speaking.
Sergio is a member of the Democratic National Committee, and serves on the Planning and Development committee of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. He is very involved in charities that foster educational and youth development and mentors students and young professionals on professional development and communications skills.
Sergio Salmeron attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a Bachelor of Arts. He also completed graduate coursework in Management, Finance, and Accounting.
