We are a collaborative group of DC Metro residents from all backgrounds and interests with a common purpose: “Working to improve our communities by using our collective efforts to reach beyond our individual abilities”.
Currently, we are focused on activism and service to promote comprehensive healthcare reform at a national level. We work in conjunction with area and national groups such as DC for Obama and Organizing for America, and are comprised of over 100 members from DC, MD, and VA. As a group member we want you to participate in group activities with an open-mind and willingness to roll-up your sleeves when necessary.
Our group's objectives are to: - Address and respond to issues happening on the national agenda with speed and efficiency - Look at all sides of issues, educating each other and sharing diverging points of views - Contribute to accountability of the our government - Be a force against special interests groups - Be policy oriented
